Great read
Oh my goodness what did I just read this book was so good !!! This was my first book by this author and I can’t wait to read more. This is only the first book in a six part series and wow!!! Rissa Mahoney spends her life sleep deprived because she is a medical assistant her life just got way more intense when a bomb goes off at a benefit. They think they have the guy but while Rissa is getting him fixed up he tells her he didn’t do it. Yikes what would you do ?! What would you think ??? This book kept me on the edge of my seat like holy crap!!! So good. I couldn’t put it down. I loved every minute of it and am here for more !!.

An exciting, dynamic read which is the first in the series, that had me on the edge of my seat the whole time I was reading it. I just couldn’t put it down and I desperately can’t wait for the next book in the series.
The characters are beautifully written and well developed, Rissa a dedicated young resident gets to her hospital for her shift to find there has been a bombing, with many injured, she has been assigned to attend to the alleged bomber on her own. Elio finds himself struggling through his pain and trying to stay conscious when his eyes finally focus on Rissa’s beautiful face. The chemistry between Rissa and Elio is electric. Some unexpected twists and turns make for excellent
Reading and I highly recommend this book.
