It can be said when everything goes like clockwork.
When everything is fine.
When there are no significant obstacles in your life.

What about when everything is falling apart?
That’s when it’s all against you. When you would rather sink into the ground and hide from the world.
Yeah, then, these words, short and strong, look like an illusion.
Something that is somewhere far, far away.

We’ve all been in this place before. Everyone deals with this differently.

I think it is best to look at it from this perspective.
It’s not so bad now that it couldn’t get any worse. I am better than I could be, and I have all the strength and power in me to move to a higher, better step in my life. So kick yourself in the butt and start working because it just won’t move on its own.
There is no retreat and no surrender.

Most of all,
NEVER, I MEAN, NEVER GIVE UP.

Life is full of ups and downs. Everyone should be aware of this and accept the low points in life as part of the life path. I come to my senses with another thought.
It can’t do anything worse than killing me. If and when I leave this world, I will start a new journey. With a new body, new opportunities, and new challenges.

This week I also had one of my loyal readers replying to my mail. As my reply to her email, I shared one of my long and, I think, one of the better speeches for the times when you are entirely on the ground. I think you, too, deserve to read this very motivational quote.
